Brett Froelich, Ph.D. Bacterial Ecophysiologist
Brett earned his PhD in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology at UNC Charlotte. Brett studied the interactions between the marine bacterium, Vibrio vulnificus and algae, oysters, marine snow, and human infection. Recent Projects involve the examination of the relationships between pathogenic vibrios and environmental and biological factors in the Neuse River estuary
